Full Time, Front Desk Coordinator at
Monmouth Gastroenterology in
Oakhurst , NJ. Primary Responsibilities- Greet and check in patients while ensuring all required documentation is completed.
- Verify and update patient demographics, insurance information, and identification.
- Collect copays, balances, and other payments at the time of service.
- Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, relay messages, and assist patients with inquiries.
- Maintain and organize patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Reconcile daily payments and assist with administrative duties as assigned.
- Support management with special projects and operational needs.
Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of medical office experience required.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR);
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent computer and data entry skills.
Preferred Qualifications:- Previous experience in both patient registration and appointment scheduling preferred.
- Experience with insurance verification and billing processes.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
- Additional training in customer service or office management.
