A bit about us:

Northern New Jersey nonprofit devoted specifically to helping adults with autism live more independent, connected, and meaningful lives. The organization provides community-based day habilitation services and is developing residential programming to support participants across adulthood.

This is a highly individualized environment. Participants build practical life skills, engage in the community, pursue volunteer and employment opportunities, and receive behavioral support based on their needs—not a generic program copied and pasted from the person before them.

The organization is entering an important stage of clinical development. It needs a BCBA who can bring structure, clinical consistency, measurable outcomes, and strong leadership to the day program while helping prepare the residential services for growth.

This is not a director role where you attend meetings, approve paperwork, and wonder whether anything changed. You will own the clinical function and have a direct impact on how services are designed, delivered, measured, and improved.

Why join us?
  • $90,000–$110,000 annual compensation
  • A true director-level BCBA position with ownership of the organization’s clinical function
  • The opportunity to lead clinical services for adults with autism across multiple support levels
  • A central role in shaping and strengthening an established NJ DDD-approved day habilitation program
  • The ability to help build the clinical foundation for developing residential services
  • Direct influence over admissions, discharges, assessments, behavior-support plans, ISP processes, and clinical policies
  • The authority to develop programming instead of simply maintaining systems created by someone else
  • The opportunity to hire, train, supervise, and develop a multidisciplinary clinical team
  • Regular access to executive leadership, including the ability to present outcomes, data, and recommendations
  • Meaningful collaboration with participants, guardians, families, group homes, vendors, and community organizations
  • A position focused specifically on the needs of adults with autism, rather than dividing your attention across unrelated populations
  • 401(k) with employer matching
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off
